Hiroyuki Sato – Hakkoku はっこく(Tokyo, Japan) returns to Icebergs Dining Room and Bar in an intimate setting.

Maurice Terzini and Executive Chef Monty Koludrovic in collaboration with Good Food Month presented by Citi are bringing back Hiroyuki Sato to Bondi Beach.

Icebergs Dining Room and Bar will transform into the world’s most exclusive and authentic sushi bar, complete with one of the best views in the world. We are holding two exclusive and intimate lunches that are limited to just twenty people per sitting.

With only six seats and a wait list of six months, Hakkoku is one of the hardest restaurants to get a reservation at in the world right now.

Sato is one of Japan’s most lauded chefs. Prior to opening Hakkoku in 2018, Sato was head chef of Sushi Tokami, where he earned three Michelin Stars. A secret to Sato’s success is that he sources only the best seafood to work with, using tuna from Yamayuki Group in Japan, who are one of the most prominent suppliers in the world. Good Food Month will be partnering Sato with the best producers in the country so that he can express his art using Australia’s most premium ingredients.
