Over the years, the Dining Room has been at the forefront of evolving the perception of Italian food and shaking up the way Australians eat Italian. The menu is designed to give you a seasonally changing opportunity to sample dishes that reflect the depth of Italian cuisine, created with the best produce that Australia has to offer, including sustainable seafood, artisanal produce, and the occasional hint of native Australia.

One of Australia’s most recognised Italian restaurants in the world, consistently hatted since opening. The Dining Room has been described by Nigella Lawson as her favourite restaurant on earth. Set above the Pacific, the room opens to uninterrupted ocean views, where the movement of the sea becomes part of the dining experience.

The menu is refined Italian cooking, guided by the seasons and shaped by long-standing relationships with small producers. Hand-rolled pasta, sustainably sourced seafood, and vegetables and cheeses from carefully selected growers across Australia and Italy. A dedicated vegetarian and vegan menu sits alongside the à la carte, as well as a children’s menu for younger guests.

For milestone celebrations, long lunches, or evenings that move at a slower pace with the Pacific in view, the Dining Room remains a place Sydney returns to when the occasion matters. For groups of 40 or more, the restaurant can also accommodate semi-private or exclusive hire.

Yes. The Bar  at Icebergs welcomes walk-ins and offers a curated list of signature and seasonal cocktails, wines by the glass, and a small menu designed for sharing. It shares the same Pacific outlook as the Dining Room, with a more relaxed character of its own.

The Dining Room can accommodate group bookings of up to 40 guests. For larger celebrations, corporate events, and private occasions, the Pacific Dining Room, The Bar, or the entire venue are available for exclusive hire. Icebergs Dining Room and Bar is the hatted Italian restaurant located on the top level of 1 Notts Avenue, Bondi Beach. The Bondi Icebergs Club & Bistro ‘The Bergs’, including the ocean pool, sauna, gym, and members’ facilities, operates separately on the levels below.
